After suffering a 7-0 humiliation at the hands of Barcelona in the Copa del Rey and extending Valencia's winless streak in La Liga to nine games following defeat to Real Betis at the weekend, Gary Neville must have thought his time in the Mestalla dugout was coming to an end.

But, despite his disastrous start to life in management, the Manchester United and England legend can take some heart from the fact that he is not the only familiar Premier League face to try and fail with Los Che.

In fact, as many as six Premier League faces have taken charge of Valencia in the past – sometimes completing more than one stint in charge of La Liga's other footballing giant.

From the good to the bad and everything in between here's how each of those six fared - or failed - with Valencia.
