Gary Lineker believes that Arsenal have signed the wrong scout after they snapped up Ben Wrigglesworth from Leicester.
Wrigglesworth has been credited for bringing previously unknown players to the league leaders and this week confirmed that he has signed for the Gunners after three years at the Foxes.
Riyad Mahrez has scored 14 goals and has earned 11 assists in the Premier League this season after being signed for just £350,000 from Le Havre in January 2014, while N’Golo Kante has been instrumental in midfield having signed for £5.6 million in the summer.

While Wrigglesworth has received the credit for these signings, Lineker reveals that is was actually a different scout who is responsible.
“I love how Arsenal nicked the wrong scout,” Lineker tweeted.
“Steve Walsh is the guy who found these players and bought them in.”
Lineker is a boyhood Leicester fan and began his career at the club, scoring 141 goals in his seven seasons.
He can recall when Walsh first spotted Mahrez playing in the French second division.
“I know when he found Mahrez he was sent to watch someone else and came back with Mahrez. He’s done a brilliant job and that’s been the large key toLeicester’s success,” he said.
“As in all clubs, it’s about the people you bring in and they’ve done it on a relatively small budget compared with the giants.”
But Leicester isn’t the first club that Walsh has had impressive success at.
He previously worked as a part-time scout for Chelsea and it’s believed he played a big role in persuading club legend Gianfranco Zola and Tore Andre Flo to sign at Stamford Bridge.
Such was his success, he was given a permanent role and Jose Mourinho gave Walsh the chance to be his European scout. Walsh worked his wonders yet again and was responsible for the signings of Didier Drogba and Michael Essien.
