Finally! Something to be excited about regarding The Dudley Boyz.
It was great to see them return to World Wrestling Entertainment and the buzz they brought with them was something the tag-team division desperately needed, but if we're being truthful, their return fell flat very quickly.
The tag-team division in the WWE has been quite poor in recent years. It's never managed to live up to the hype of old where you had The Hardy Boys, The Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian and many more.

The Usos were carrying it for a while, with The New Day also doing well with their comic promos and segments, but when The Dudleys return, there was a sense of excitement around the division once again.
However, they returned and did their old classics. The 'wazzzaaa head-drop', the tables and the 3-D, but there was still something missing from the duo and it went pretty boring pretty quickly for them.

If they weren't in filler matches with other tag-teams, they were included in random eight-man tags or 12-man tags and it started to get pretty repetitive and pretty boring for all spectators.
Jobbing for Wyatt's and Heel Turn
WWE then finally gave them an actual feud to get into, but it was just to job for the Wyatt Family and it resulted in them losing the majority of the matches.
Bringing back Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno was pretty cool, but the big matches against the Wyatt's always went in one direction and that was with the Dudleys losing.
So then we go into RAW and they talk their way into a tag-team match with The Usos against The New Day, turning it into an eight-man tag.
The match finishes with a 3-D on Big E through a table, resulting in a win for the Dudleys and the Usos, but it didn't end there.
Bubba then took out one of the Usos from behind, and D-Von then clotheslined another before putting both of them through separate tables with a 3-D and a powerbomb.
Dudleys as heels is always brilliant TV, it has been since their ECW days and now they've turned on the babyfaces of the Usos, maybe they can bring some fire back to the tag-team division.
Bubba is brilliant on the mic and WWE really need to use that in order to push through this heel gimmick for the tag-team.
Not really sure how it will work if they want to get the tag-team belts as The New Day are also meant to be heels, but it certainly makes them more relevant and a lot more interesting to watch.
