Manchester United have made Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang their No.1 transfer target.
This has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that the Red Devils are ready to lure the Bundesliga hitman to the Premier League by promising to make him a global superstar.
In fact, the report claims that the Red Devils are prepared to offer in excess of £60 million to sign the striker while they could hand him a contract worth £200,000-a-week.

Aubameyang, of course, is recognised as one of the leading strikers in Germany's elite division, so it's not entirely surprising that the United hierarchy are looking at him at this stage.
At 26-years-old, Aubameyang has been in sensational form throughout the course of the campaign - he has scored 20 goals in 20 league games this season - but it remains to be seen as to whether the Red Devils manage to get the deal over the line.

United in need
One thing is for sure, United certainly need Aubameyang in their side. Louis van Gaal's long-term future at Old Trafford may well be uncertain, but it's clear for all to see that the club must change the dynamic of their squad once again this summer.
Ultimately, United are short in attack; talented Frenchman Anthony Martial appears to be a fine prospect for the club, but he hasn't had a great deal of help up front throughout the course of the campaign.
Captain Wayne Rooney just hasn't been able to deliver the goods on a consistent basis.
The trio of Javier Hernandez, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao all left Manchester behind last summer, so the club are clearly in need of reinforcements.
As it stands, though, Van Gaal is clearly fighting to save his job at Old Trafford. United just haven't been good enough this term - they currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table - and may well miss out on qualifying for next season's Champions League competition.
In truth, United may well have to win the Europa League in order to qualify for next season's tournament. The Red Devils are set to play FC Midtjylland in the Round of 32 first-leg on Thursday.
