Stephen Amell and Stardust were part of a fantastic tag team match at last year's SummerSlam event that also included Neville and King Barrett.

Since Amell won the match by pinning Stardust, the two have had a number of back and forth conversations on Twitter, but as of yet there hasn't been anything solid to force a return for Amell.

Stardust crashed Stephen's "Arrow" Panel at the Dallas Comic Con as a way of returning his Slammy Award, he then threw a glass of water in his face and challenged him to a singles match.

ARROW VS STARDUST

The singles match that the WWE Universe was sold on almost a year ago, could be set to finally happen as Amell tweeted the following:

"If he wants a singles match, all he has to do is ask."

That being said, Stardust has been tweeting some mysterious things as of late, stating that the WWE Universe may not see Stardust again.

He tweeted "Stardust is coming to an end."

WRESTLEMANIA 32 SHOWDOWN

It seems that the stage is set for the showdown to happen at WrestleMania 32 which coincidentally is also going to take place in Dallas Texas.

This will add a celebrity appeal to WrestleMania, something that WWE attempt to add to the event every year, with the likes of Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg being used as part of the annual extravaganza in recent years.

Stardust has become a favorite of the WWE Universe after Cody Rhodes decided against making a return to his former character after the death of his father, WWE Hall of Famer The American Dream Dusty Rhodes.

He has since delivered some of his best work on WWE TV and has become one of the best characters in the locker room.

Amell will have to train a lot harder than he did for last year's SummerSlam event if he wants to be able to compete in a fully sanctioned one-on-one match with someone of Stardust's talent. However, the transition from screen to the wrestling stage will definitely be one worth watching.
