Louis van Gaal's philosophy has been criticised by fans and pundits alike throughout the course of the season.
The experienced Dutchman appears to be more concerned with keeping the ball than actually finding the back of the net.
Ultimately, Van Gaal's style has cost United this term - the Red Devils have been blasted for their boring style of play while they are struggling to secure positive results - and fans appear to be getting fed up.

The Red Devils were dumped out of the Champions League in the group stages and currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League table. Elite European football appears to be a long way off for the club at this stage in the season.
Ultimately, t-shirts have now emerged appearing to mock Van Gaal's style at Old Trafford. To make matters worse, they have been released by adidas - the club's official sponsor - and are being sold in the club shop, according to The Sun.

Club shop sale
Even a staff member from the club shop has been left surprised by the shirts on sale.
Speaking to The Sun, a staff member stated: “It only came in a couple of weeks ago.
“I can’t believe we are stocking it, it surely is something which should have come out at the start of the season, rather than after such bad results."
It wasn't too long ago that adidas CEO Herbert Hainer even criticised the club's style of play under the Dutch regime.
At the time, he stated: “Business with Man United is going very well — we are selling more shirts than expected. We are satisfied... even if the current playing style is not exactly what we want to see.”
LVG in trouble
There's no getting away from the fact that Van Gaal is in serious trouble at Old Trafford. Things just don't seem to be improving and surely he won't be in charge at the start of next season.
With the club struggling in the Premier League, there has to be a focus on achieving success in the Europa League.
With the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Liverpool left in the competition, it won't be easy for United to claim the European trophy, but they shouldn't underestimate the importance of the competition.
Ultimately, success in the tournament will hand the club a route into next season's Champions League. They will be determined to secure a positive result against Midtjylland tonight.
