Kevin Owens reacts to insulting fan sign at Smackdown

Fans signs have been the source of some of the greatest moments of comedy within the WWE, but for Kevin Owens, one has recently forced him into action.

The newly crowned Intercontinental Champion is often regarded for his 'unique' body type and has even had WWE legend Mick Foley sing his praises in the past.

Not everyone is convinced

While many members of the WWE Universe have grown to love arguably the companies biggest heel right now, not everyone is convinced.

In fact one fan in attendance at Tuesday's Smackdown taping decided to use a sign to show their displeasure with the superstar.

Holding up a sign claiming that 'Kevin Owens is fat', the fan at Smackdown quickly had his sign removed by event staff.

It's not unusual for event staff to remove signs from some fans at WWE shows, but this fan was also criticised on social media.

There's not many WWE superstars who would react to fans holding a sign up about them, but Owens is one of them.

This is not the first time that Owens has made headlines via his Twitter profile, but attacking a fan could prove a step too far for even him?

It will be interesting to see if there are any repercussions for Owens, but in the meantime, it looks unlikely that any fans will try to insult Owens in the crowd again.
