FastLane arrived in Cleveland, Ohio the home state of main eventer Dean Ambrose with feelings of excitement and anticipation echoing around the arena.

Cleveland had already watched their hometown hero Dolph Ziggler put up a great fight against Kevin Owens but once again he fell short in his battle for the Intercontinental Championship.

HOPE ON HIS SHOULDERS

Dean Ambrose was the true underdog going into his match against Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar and given Daniel Bryan's recent retirement, WWE could have capitalized on this.

Ambrose was the only man in the match that was yet to main event WrestleMania or hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Fans truly believed that after the sacrifices Ambrose made last year to put Seth Rollins over as World Champion, then maybe WWE were ready to repay him.

Ambrose was definitely the most deserving of the win and the roof would have been blown off the Quicken Loans Arena if WWE had given him the victory, but once again they preferred to continue to build Roman as a credible threat to Triple H's reign as champion.

WRESTLEMANIA FLOP?

Roman Reigns vs Triple H is now officially headlining WrestleMania 32 with Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar set to be announced in the near future.

The Wyatt's failed to win their match against Ryback, Kane and The Big Show so they also failed to appear and attack Lesnar, which leaves him open to a match with The Lunatic.

WWE have once again booked themselves into the position they were in before WrestleMania 30. They have the headline, much like Randy Orton vs Batista was unveiled for their 30th anniversary, but this time Daniel Bryan isn't there to save the event.

WWE And E! Presents "Superstars For Hope" - Arrivals

Who will WWE turn to when there are 90,000 fans booing Roman Reigns? There is no Money in the Bank holder to run down and cash in this year and there is no underdog left to fight to make this a triple threat match.

WWE have really booked themselves into a corner here and thanks to their current injury crisis, they have no one left to dig them back out.

FastLane was their chance to boost sales for the show which is now just over a month away, instead they have shown that they no longer care about the fans' opinion and it seems many are now set to boycott the event.
