Tonight's RAW opened with an explosion - and I don't mean the pyrotechnics.

The awarding of the Vincent J McMahon Legacy of Excellence award would prove to be one of the most unbelievable segments in recent WWE history.

Shortly after Vince McMahon announced that his daughter Stephanie McMahon was the recipient of the award, they were joined by a very special guest.

The return of Shane McMahon came as a great shock to everyone as he entered the arena to confront his father and his sister.

They looked just as surprised as the rest of us to see him but what would unfold in the following minutes would create even more chaos.

It was so much more than just the confirmation of a WrestleMania match:

Shane demanding control of Monday Night RAW, now has a date with destiny against the Undertaker at WrestleMania in a Hell in a Cell match.

The WWE were expected to go all out for WrestleMania 32 but this is a main event that none could have expected.

Before the clash at WrestleMania, all eyes will be on what revelations come out between now and April third.

Three main events

Tonight saw two new matches at Mania announced and alongside Shane-O-Mac returning, we also found out who Brock Lesnar will be facing.

Lesnar will now be taking on Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania in what should be a fairly brutal but very interesting match.
