The WWE Universe was left stunned on Monday night as Shane McMahon returned to the company to appear on RAW.
The son of WWE CEO Vince McMahon hadn't been seen on the company's headline show since 2009, and he marked the sensational appearance with the sensational confirmation that he would fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.

As you can see in the video, a WWE.com exclusive, Shane O-Mac's emotions were running high after so long in the shadows of the organization.
Having burst back into the limelight, it is clear that the 46-year-old is just as pumped as the WWE Universe. That video isn't any sort of acting, it is genuine emotion from a man who clearly missed the business.
In light of Daniel Bryan's recent retirement and a less-than-stellar Fastlane pay-per-view, fans were in need of a pick-me-up.
Shane McMahon returning to lay down a challenge to The Undertaker and his father - the WWE boss will rescind control of RAW to Shane if he defeats the Deadman on April 3 - most certainly did that.
It remains to be seen whether Shane can continue the feel good factor over the next few weeks and into the AT&T Stadium show, but judging by his rapport with the fans he stands a very good chance.
