Earlier this month, Titus O'Neil was suspended by the WWE for 60 days following a small interaction with Vince McMahon after Monday Night RAW went off the air.
The suspension, which was originally a staggering 90 days, will see O'Neil miss out on appearing at WrestleMania 32 in April - which is normally the biggest payday of the year for WWE superstars.
Titus is very good friends with former WWE Champion Batista, who went on a foul-mouthed rant about Vince McMahon when he was approached regarding the suspension.
Speaking to TMZ, the high-profile former superstar and main-eventer stuck up for his friend and laid into Vince.
"That should have been a man to man conversation and not a suspension,” Batista said about Titus’ grab on McMahon. "He was being playful with Vince - which we all are - because Vince is a very physical and playful guy.”
The error Titus made was doing it in front of a live Raw crowd and television cameras. McMahon, perhaps out of embarrassment, suspended him for two months.
“(Vince) f****d him with a suspension and a fine, he double-f****d him taking WrestleMania away from him.”
Batista, who starred in the blockbuster hits 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Spectre', did have some advice for his good friend: Leave WWE.
“I think he should leave. He can make more money doing a million other things.”
A strong take from the wrestler-turned-actor, who can now say whatever he likes after walking away from the company and making a success of himself.
