It doesn’t take much to make Arsenal fans on Twitter - some of them, not all - furious. Just ask Thierry Henry.
They get particularly irate if you happen to say anything negative about Mesut Ozil.
So, it’s entirely unsurprising that they’re currently channeling their rage towards Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera, who has dared to call Ozil inconsistent.

The Spanish midfielder wasn’t quite that blunt. He was comparing Ozil to Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta, one of his idols, and admitted the Arsenal playmaker can make the difference on his day.

Herrera: 'Ozil isn't so consistent'
"For me Iniesta is the only one,” the 26-year-old commented. “I like to play against him so I can tell my grandchildren about it.
"Arsenal have Coquelin, Ozil… Mesut isn’t so consistent, but he makes the difference when he’s on his day."

Herrera: Arsenal have no chance if Messi turns up
Herrera also said that Arsenal have some “outstanding players” and expects them to give Barcelona a run for their money over the two legs of their Champions League last-16 tie.
But he added that Barcelona “are better” - and concedes that Arsenal will be out of the competition if Lionel Messi is at his best.
"I think it’s going to be harder for Barcelona this year," Herrera added. "I think that Arsenal, aside from having some outstanding players, are brimming with self-confidence this season, both in the Premier League and the Champions League.
"That said, I think Barca are better. Not much better, but still better. It’s going to be a great tie.
"If Leo Messi has his day, there’s little you can do. Of course, your job as the opposition is to ensure that he doesn’t have his day, but if he is 100 per cent on form and has his day, you can either pray or forget about it."
Ozil has been consistent this season
In fairness to the irritated Arsenal supporters, Herrera’s comments on Ozil are probably a little harsh considering how well the German playmaker has performed this season.
Ozil has scored four goals and provided a magnificent 17 assists in the Premier League alone this term and is among the contenders to win the PFA’s Premier League Player of the Year award.
Herrera, on the other hand, has scored two goals and registered two assists in the league this season.
Manchester United fans must wish they had a player as ‘inconsistent’ as Mesut Ozil.
