AJ Styles made his debut in the WWE back in January when he was a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.
Since then, he has quickly adapted to the company and has had a brilliant first feud with Chris Jericho, which culminated in a clash at Fastlane last weekend with arguably one of the matches of the year so far.
During an interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, according to NoDQ, The Phenomenal One talked about the locker room reaction he received when he arrived at the WWE. He stated he was welcomed by the other superstars on the roster, something which he didn't expect would happen.

He said: “I didn’t expect (the wrestlers) to be so open to me coming in. These guys bust their tails and made a lot of sacrifices to be here. And here comes this guy out of nowhere. Sometimes you’ll walk into a locker room and you’ll get, ‘What’s that guy doing here?’ In WWE, it’s not like that at all. They literally welcomed me with open arms. I can’t describe how great the locker room is.
"This is why the WWE is successful, because they have a locker room that gets it done. These guys get it and understand, and they’re ready to get out there and work. They know we’re in the entertainment business, and they respect what I’ve done. You don’t see that everywhere.”
There has been speculation that AJ's WrestleMania 32 opponent could be Kevin Owens and they could be competing for the Intercontinental Championship. If the former TNA man does win that clash, it would be the first time he has held a title in the WWE.
As Styles has recently been pairing up with Jericho in tag team matches on Raw and SmackDown since the Fastlane pay-per-view, rumors might start to grow that they will push to challenge The New Day for the Tag Team Championship at some point, perhaps even at WrestleMania.
Overall, The Phenomenal One's time in the WWE has so far been successful. He's already won over the crowd, and now he just has to win over the officials of the company in order to get his first title push.
