Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is used to handing out the embarrassment.

But the Uruguayan got a taste of his medicine after being nutmegged by Jordi Alba in a training session. (Scroll down to watch the video.)

The pair were participating in a rondo when the left-back humiliated Suarez with a neat pass.

And Alba didn’t fail to hide his delight, celebrating rather excessively at the striker’s expense.

‘So that’s what it feels like,’ must have been the thought going through Suarez’s head.

The 29-year-old has been in immaculate form this season, scoring 41 goals for his club in all competitions as he seeks yet more glory in Spain.

Treble hunt

Suarez is on a mission to repeat last season’s treble heroics by winning the La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey again.

He is also hunting the Pichichi, the award handed to La Liga’s highest scorer. Suarez has scored 25 league goals - three more than Cristiano Ronaldo - and if Barcelona’s recent antics are anything to go by, the former Liverpool man will be adding an individual accolade to his trophy cabinet at the end of the season.

Force-feeding Suarez

First there was the pass penalty in the game against Celta Vigo (which was actually intended for Neymar but Suarez, ever the predator, tucked the ball home).

And it appears the number nine has even taken over penalty duties from Lionel Messi. Earlier this month, Suarez stepped up from 12 yards against Sporting Gijon - but missed.

Alba’s nutmeg is probably the low point of Suarez’s season. That proves just how good a year it’s been.
