Shane McMahon made his return to WWE last week on Raw and there has since been a huge reaction on social media about the potential that the company could have under McMahon's leadership.
For Shane to gain power, he must defeat The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania in The Deadman's home state of Texas. There have been suggestions that this could be a swerve and Shane could call in reinforcements instead with the most popular names being John Cena, Batista and Goldberg.
ERA OF CHANGE?
This is not the only speculation that is currently circling around WWE. with many fans thinking that Shane McMahon could be set to end WWE's PG rating and bring back the blood, violence and curse words that WWF became famous for in the late '90s and early 2000's.

Raw last week was a much edgier show than usual and it not only saw Vince McMahon himself drop the F-bomb on live TV but it saw WWE allow a Superstar to bleed, and, with the help of Byron Saxton, they actually helped Roman look the way he did.
As already reported, this was a story line work so that Roman Reigns could have the nose surgery he has been needing for a while, but this way he is written off WWE TV and it allows Triple H to look like a strong champion going into their match at WrestleMania in April.

BEST FOR BUSINESS?
WWE's current demographic is one that is dominated by a younger audience so that could be harmed if WWE were thinking of taking away the PG banner.
That being said, WWE has already created a children's show which means that they could direct children towards that and allow adults to once again enjoy wrestling when it's no holds barred entertainment.
Obviously, there would be more strict health and safety precautions now than there were over a decade ago, but it could well be feasible.
There is also a rumor circulating that WWE could be set to recreate the WCW vs WWE invasion angle with NXT.
The development territory has become a complete brand on their own now and if Shane does take over WWE then it is likely that Triple H will head back down to NXT and the two could collide over who's roster is the best.
Both of these are exciting prospects heading into a WrestleMania, but the questions will all be answered on "The Grandest Stage of them all" in less than six weeks time.
