The John Fox overhaul in Chicago seems like it isn't ready to redo the entire franchise just yet as the team announced that they will be using their franchise tag this year.
Wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey will now receive the tag from the Chicago Bears despite the last few months being filled with rumours of a complete re-imagining in Chicago.
Not losing them all
Last off-season the Bears saw wide receiver Brandon Marshall leave the franchise to join the New York Jets and go on to have over 1,500 receiving yards resulting in being selected for the pro-bowl.

It has already been confirmed that star runningback Matt Forte will hit the free agency market this year and will surely be one of the biggest names available.
Now it looks like the team are doing what they can to avoid losing too much talent by placing the franchise tag on Alshon Jeffrey.
The Bears went 6-10 last season with the biggest story from the year being the emergence of runningback Jeremy Langford.
Jeffrey was Chicago's leading receiver last year by a long way and reports of a John Fox revolution always questioned if the head coach would go so far as to trade him.
While the franchise tag secures the future of Jeffrey for one more year, all eyes will be on Fox to see how he changes the team this year.
The draft is upcoming and the Bears hold the 11th pick in the first round with their biggest need arguably at linebacker, who will Fox and his staff take with their pick?
Mountain to climb
While the Bears are a franchise in transition, they will have a large mountain to climb if they are going to get themselves ahead in their division.
Stuck with the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions in the NFC North, Chicago have a long road ahead to become contenders for the title.
