With a roster as big as WWE's, it becomes easy for any wrestler to slip out of the focus of those in charge of the company.

This is perhaps no more evident than in the case of Dolph Ziggler, who has often come so close to remaining in the spotlight of the biggest business in professional wrestling.

Coming close, however, is just as far as WWE allow Ziggler to get, with regard to being given the attention he deserves and ultimately, pleasing his huge fan base.

Monday Night Raw

For Dolph Ziggler, his position within WWE programming week-in, week-out lately has been demonstrated through wins over the current Intercontinental Championship Title holder; Kevin Owens.

During this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, however, Ziggler fell victim to an unexpected and very quick defeat by The Miz.

What may well have first been seen by members of the WWE Universe as a typical meaningless booking of two mid-card wrestlers appears to have been intentional and leading to something a lot more worthwhile.

WrestleMania 32

With WWE's biggest night of the year just around the corner in the form of WrestleMania 32, there has been a lot of discussion as to which matches will fill the remaining spots on the card.

As What Culture has reported, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio revealed that The Miz is set to be part of a 'key match' at on The Grandest Stage Of Them All at WrestleMania 32 in a month's time.

The match is rumoured to be a multi-man bout including Ziggler as well, but it has not yet been confirmed whether this match will be for Kevin Owens' Intercontinental Title or even for Kalisto's United States Title.

Either way, this match-up will be a classic example of what WWE favours doing with its mid-card talent at a WrestleMania event, meaning that Dolph Ziggler will be waiting yet another year for his first WrestleMania singles match.

As for The Miz, it is believed that WWE felt he needed the win on Raw more than Ziggler of late, which in turn sets up an interesting rivalry between the two during the rumoured multi-man match.

Followers of WWE are set to be in for yet another incredible night at WrestleMania 32, and this speculated match will prove just that.

If it is confirmed, it will surely be one of the earlier matches on the night, with putting a title on the line making in an even more exciting way to set up a great card and what is surely going to be yet another memorable WWE event.
