The WhatsApp messages exchanged between Adam Johnson and a 15-year-old female fan have appeared online.
On Tuesday, the jury at Bradford Crown Court found Johnson guilty on one charge of sexual activity with a child but was cleared of a second charge relating to another sexual act. Johnson had previously admitted grooming the girl and one charge of sexual activity.
The former Sunderland player was told by Judge Jonathan Rose that he faces jail time and was advised to "say goodbye" to his daughter.

Judge Rose said his preliminary view was that the case looks to be a five-year prison sentence with a range of four to 10 years.
He said: "The defendant must understand there is a very high probability of a significant custodial sentence."

His victim released a statement saying she had been put through the "hardest year" of her life and feels "used and let down" by a man she once considered a hero.
She said: "I have had to face so much abuse after he claimed his innocence and I was made out to be a liar. What happened in his car has turned my life upside down.
"There are people who have made assumptions about me and this has been hard to deal with... Him being found guilty shows everyone I was telling the truth."
After adding her on Facebook, Johnson asked for the girl's phone number and they would go onto exchange 834 messages on WhatsApp and meet twice. The most significant of those messages are published below.
The two met on January 17 2015 – only a week after his partner Stacey Flounders had given birth to his first child on January 8.
Johnson handed the girl a signed shirt in his Range Rover with the meeting lasting 15 minutes. However, within hours, the former England international was texting the girl again, requesting another meeting.
The second meeting, again in his Range Rover, on January 30 was when Johnson admitted he kissed the girl but claimed it "went no further".
His victim claimed that he "put his hands down her pants" and she also performed an oral sex act on him. The jury has since cleared Johnson of the second claim but a 10-2 majority found him guilty on the sexual touching charge.
Following Johnson's admission of two charges, Sunderland sacked the footballer from his £60,000-a-week contract. Johnson had told the court that his club knew he had kissed the girl, although the club have denied that.
It read: "Upon learning of the guilty plea on 11 February 2016, the club acted quickly and decisively in terminating Adam Johnson's contract without notice.
"This has been an extremely difficult time for all involved. The victim and her family have endured an unimaginable ordeal in the last 12 months and we trust that they will now be allowed to move on with their lives without further intrusion or public scrutiny."
