The new league year starts next week with the commencement of free agency and while there is plenty of intrigue around the likes of Matt Forte, Doug Martin and Mario Williams, all eyes are looking ahead to the draft.

With the Tennessee Titans at number one and Cleveland Browns at number two, countless mock drafts have already been composed.

Typical Browns

Cleveland are officially done with the Johnny Manziel experiment and pretty much everyone expects them to target a new franchise quarterback in the draft.

However speaking on who the Browns will take at number two, new Cleveland head coach Hue Jackson has thrown some doubt over their choice.

Jackson hasn't ruled out any prospects, and has in fact confirmed that he will be at the pro day of top quarterback prospects Carson Wentz, Jared Goff and Paxton Lynch.

However in typical Browns fashion, Jackson confirmed that the team still don't know who to pick.

"We're not anywhere close to being able to make a decision on what's best for us right now," - Hue Jackson on the draft

A bold strategy to reveal that the team are nowhere near a decision just yet, particularly with strong rumours suggesting that the Titans are looking at trading away the top pick.

Despite Jackson playing down the rumours surrounding the Browns, there are still very few people who expect them to draft anything other than a quarterback.

In the same week as Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed their team won't be going for a quarterback, there is certainly a lot less security in Cleveland.

Johnny Who?

Manziel is going to the open market but with his off the field problems, it is questionable if any other teams will take a chance on him.

It will be interesting to see just who the Browns turn to in the end and if they try to trade for or pick up a quarterback in free agency rather than the draft.

The Browns have many problem areas throughout their team and while quarterback is a major concern, they have also lost their starting centre and need an effective runningback.
