WrestleMania 32 is ever-nearing and arguably the biggest match on the entire card has to be The Undertaker taking on a returning Shane McMahon.
Shane-O-Mac made a shock return to the WWE on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago and has come back with the sole intention of taking ownership of RAW, much to the delight of fans who have had to suffer through The Authority for a few years.
However, it was never really explained why The Undertaker was doing Vince McMahon's dirty work for him, in trying to beat Shane and keep RAW in control of Vince and The Authority. Well, now we finally know.
It's A Challenge
Kane recently appeared on the UK-based Gorilla Position podcast to talk about McMahon facing Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas on April 3. During the interview, The Big Red Machine was asked why Vince has chosen Taker to face his son at the big event.
"He has a challenge in front of him, and that's what it is," Kane told talkSport. "I don't know if there's necessarily a nefarious back story or anything like that."
Wear Out Shane
Kane also said that he expects for Shane-O-Mac to come into the match guns blazing and that he will eventually tire out.
"With Shane, you just have to weather his exuberance, for lack of a better term," Kane said. "He's going to want to just let it all hang out and jump off the top of the stadium if he can."
"So I think that's the most important thing - just let him do his deal. And then eventually, of course, what's going to happen is - much like in a soccer or rugby match - that emotion's going to wear off and from there the better team, or in this case, The Undertaker, does what he does best."
It doesn't matter Taker's reasons for taking the fight - hopefully he actually talks about himself in the next few RAW's before WrestleMania 32 - but one thing we do know for sure is that it is going to be a great match.
