As WWE fans know all too well, they've seen the last of Daniel Bryan wrestling in the organization. That doesn't mean, though, that his time in the company is at an end.
The fans' favourite might not have been seen on WWE TV since he announced his retirement back in early February, but he remains under contract and is likely to continue to work in a non-wrestling capacity.
And, after a photo of Bryan and his real-life partner Brie Bella was posted online today, there is speculation amongst the WWE Universe that he could begin that work on tonight's RAW broadcast.

The image in question, uploaded to her official Instagram account by Brie, seems fairly innocuous at first. It simply shows Bryan and herself enjoying a meal out.

It was the accompanying hashtags - a Pittsburgh restaurant and the city itself referenced - that have generated some excitement amongst WWE fans. With RAW coming from the Pensylvania city tonight, some believe Bryan could be in line for an appearance.
Of course, Bryan could be travelling with Brie simply as her husband rather than in any official WWE capacity. The WWE have yet to confirm any such appearance from the Yes! Movement leader for instance.
Although, considering his status and uncertain future, they would likely keep it under wraps until his music hit at the CONSOL Energy Center should they have Pittsburgh plans for Bryan.
According to PW Mania, the current speculation suggests that Bryan would be involved in some way as Brie continues her feud with Lana. This would also allow Rusev to be involved, with the two men likely 'fighting it out' on the mic.
Any appearance would be a good way to bring Bryan back into the WWE limelight, and it would be a nice lead up to WWE's special 'Daniel Bryan' night at Madison Square Garden later this month.
With the bearded star also scheduled to be involved on the WWE's UK tour that follows WrestleMania, here is to hoping that he can continue to make an impact outside of the ring now that his wrestling days are over.
Whether his 'second career' begins tonight in Pittsburgh, however, remains to be seen.
