Kurt Angle has not been part of the WWE since he departed the company in 2006 and went on to TNA.
His recent 'retirement' from TNA has suggested a return to the company he once called home could be on the cards for the former WWE Champion.
And an apparent meet between Angle and WWE's Triple H could indicate that a return to the place he called home for eight years could be on the cards.

According to NoDQ: "Kurt Angle and Triple H reportedly met last weekend for the first time since 2006. The two multi-time WWE World Champions were both in attendance at the Arnold Sports Festival last weekend in Columbus, Ohio. Angle was there to be inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame, and Triple H was there to film and produce some videos for WWE.
"Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported news of their meeting on Sunday night, but said there's no word on what they talked about. Angle has previously said that he's confident WWE will eventually induct him into their Hall of Fame, and has even expressed interest in doing a Team Angle reboot on WWE TV.

"When asked if there was any chance of Angle being in Pittsburgh for tonight's RAW, Meltzer responded with, "Doubtful, but it's up to Vince.""
Try not to get your hopes up too much, after all, Angle has said he would like to take some time off from wrestling for a little while. However, it wasn't too long ago either that the former World Heavyweight Champion said he would like to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame some day.
He has said his main goal is to be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, but really, he should be inducted into both considering what he has contributed to wrestling and the WWE throughout his career.
He hasn't officially ruled out any possible returns for either TNA or WWE, so these reported talks with Triple H are a very promising sight to hear, just don't bank on it happening just yet.
For what Angle did during his time with the company, he would certainly be a headline edition to the Hall of Fame, and if he is coming back for that, the WWE Universe will be wanting to see at least one more match or feud before he retires for good. WrestleMania 33 in Orlando next year would certainly be a nice stage for that to take place.
WWE fans would definitely have open arms for any type of return by Kurt Angle, and they'll be hoping the reported meet with Triple H was discussing just that possibility.
