WWE has once again been stricken by its injury curse as Neville is the next superstar to find himself on the sidelines.
The Man That Gravity Forgot fractured his ankle at this week's Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh during a match with Chris Jericho. The injury was caused after Neville performed a baseball slide in the ring through Y2J's legs, as he was limping in the ring after that move.
What's worse for the British superstar is he will now miss WrestleMania 32 in just over two weeks. He joins the list of other wrestlers that will not be performing at The Showcase of The Immortals such as John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Cesaro, and Nikki Bella.

WWE released a statement on their website confirming the injury that Neville picked up during Monday Night Raw:
"Neville sustained a left ankle injury on a baseball slide during his match with Chris Jericho," Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com. "Initial X-rays reveal a fracture of the ankle. He will undergo further imaging today to determine the extent of the fracture and to determine if surgery will be necessary."
There is a mixture in rumors as to what kind of injury Neville actually has. While WWE has reported it as a fractured ankle, Wrestling Observer Radio notes, via Wrestling Inc, that he could actually have a broken ankle and a broken shinbone.
The major disappointment for The Man That Gravity Forgot will be that he now misses WreslteMania 32 later this year, which many fans will be saddened to hear. He is one of the most hard-working stars on the roster and looked set to be included in the rumored multi-man match for Kevin Owens' Intercontinental Championship.
Although the experienced referee Charles Robinson may have missed or misheard Neville saying he was injured, the professional that is Jericho knew what to do so that the British superstar could receive medical attention immediately.
Y2J got himself disqualified from the match by pushing the referee out of the way. He then had a mini confrontation with AJ Styles after calling him down to the ring so Neville could go backstage discreetly.
His high-flying skills and high-risk maneuvers will be missed at this year's Showcase of The Immortals, but being hurt could be a blessing in disguise for him. The recent Breakout Star of the Year Slammy Award winner could be given a chance to reboot his character upon his return from injury, which could lead to him winning several championships in the WWE.
