Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has sung the praises of star striker Gonzalo Higuain, claiming he's on the same level as La Liga duo Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Argentinian striker does have a past in Spain, playing for Real Madrid, but after being told he wasn't needed by the La Liga outfit, he left and joined Napoli, despite strong interest being shown by Arsenal.
Since moving to Napoli, Higuain has been strongly linked with a move away from the Serie A club, with teams in the Premier League once again interested.

A lot of speculation currently suggests Chelsea could be interested in signing the striker should they appoint Antonio Conte as their next manager.
However, the 28-year-old has continued to declare his happiness in Italy and has no plans on leaving the club in the near-future.

The Argentine is once again having a stand-out season for Napoli, netting 26 goals in 28 games so far, keeping Sarri's side in the title-picture.
SARRI PRAISES AND DEFENDS STRIKER
Speaking about his star asset, the Napoli boss praised Higuain and compared him to both Messi and Ronaldo, stating he is just as influential as the La Liga duo.
Sarri also defended Higuain after he showed glimpses of frustration over the past two games. He kicked a water-bottle over after being subbed against Fiorentina, and then he chose not to thank the travelling Napoli fans when they faced Chievo.
Despite making headlines for those actions, Sarri has defended the striker and has insisted he's happy to have an angry Higuain.
"I don't know and I'm not interested if Higuain was angry," Sarri said, when asked of the player's reaction against Chievo."I only care that he played really well.
"He's in another class and influences the team, just like Lionel Messi influences Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo influences Real Madrid.
"We're not at the same level as those teams but he is at the same level as those players."
