Barcelona ace Lionel Messi guided the club to their 38th game undefeated after registering a convincing win over Arsenal on Wednesday, with each of the front three getting on the scoresheet.
But the Argentine international sincerely believes that the Catalan club are not overly-reliant on the genius of Luis Suarez, Neymar and himself.
As reported by Goal.com, Messi said: “Barcelona do not depend on MSN. We have a great squad and there is much more to Barcelona than just the three attackers.”

He hailed the brilliance of Neymar, who is the youngest among the prolific trident, admitting that he finds similarities while playing with his current teammate to former colleague Ronaldinho.
“Neymar? Brazilian players are always a bit different. They have a lot of quality and it is great to be on the pitch with them, first with Ronaldinho and now with Neymar.”

The 28-year-old considers the quality and depth of the squad at Camp Nou as key to continuing their current silverware-laden era.
“Records are not important to us. All that matters to us is winning titles. We always want to win more. If we break records on our way to winning titles, that’s obviously nice.
“The good atmosphere and the desire to keep winning things are key. My goal is always to win everything I can, both with Barcelona and Argentina.”
The Blaugrana have an eight-point lead over second placed Atletico Madrid and are favourites to replicate last term’s treble winning season.
But he reiterates that they will not be complacent going into the final stages of the season.
“We are not writing off anyone in La Liga. We are only thinking about ourselves. Every game we win is game fewer until the end.”
Messi doesn’t want to solely focus on the treble but would treat each game on its merit as the season progresses.
“The treble? We are taking things one step at a time. Our goal is to challenge for all trophies and we are doing just that at the moment.”
Among the 84 goals scored by Barca in the Spanish league, 68 of them have come courtesy the trio at Catalonia, alongside 32 assists.
Deemed as the best attacking combination in world football, Messi, Suarez and Neymar are destined for further accolades in the future and despite the Argentine's comments, many will still believe that Barcelona's MSN trio carry the rest of their teammates.
