Simon Mignolet’s topsy-turvy season at Liverpool has continued after he saved a penalty against Southampton.
The biggest criticism of the Belgian is his inconsistency but, unfortunately for Sadio Mane, the goalkeeper was on form at St. Mary’s.
And Jurgen Klopp was most pleased to see the goalkeeper deny Southampton. Watch his brilliant reaction by scrolling down the page.

Martin Skrtel was penalised for fouling Southampton’s Graziano Pelle inside the box, giving Mane the chance to cut Liverpool’s 2-0 lead in half.
But it was an opportunity the Senegal international couldn’t take.

Mignolet guessed correctly as Mane struck the ball to the ‘keeper’s right. Southampton couldn’t turn in the rebound as Liverpool escaped.
The save ensures Jurgen Klopp’s team remain on course for an impressive win over Southampton.
Liverpool are on course for three points
They lead thanks to first-half goals from Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge as Liverpool look to keep up their chase for a top-four spot.
If the result stays as it is - Mane made up for his error by scoring to make it 2-1 - the Reds will leapfrog Southampton and Stoke into seventh place, four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
The battle for the last remaining top four spot - presuming Leicester, Tottenham and Arsenal hold on to the top three places - is hotting up as the season nears a conclusion.
City host sixth-placed Manchester United at 4pm but just five points will separate them from Stoke if they lose to the Red Devils.
As for Liverpool, many might have expected them to be fatigued following Thursday’s Europa League match against United but they’ve shown nothing of the sort.
