Gerard Pique just loves trolling Real Madrid, doesn’t he?
The Barcelona defender has taken digs at his arch-rivals on numerous occasions over the past year and seems to be thoroughly enjoying it, too.
It all began during his celebration of Barcelona’s La Liga triumph last season when he told his club’s fans: “We are the best team in the world! Thanks to all and thanks to Kevin Roldan… everything started with you.”

Let us explain.
Roldan, a singer, performed at Cristiano Ronaldo’s 30th birthday party last February while the two sides were embroiled in a title battle.

But following that party, Real Madrid seemed to go into free-fall which allowed Barcelona to win the league, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Then, earlier this season, Real Madrid were thrown out of the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player.
Rafa Benitez selected suspended Denis Cheryshev for the first-leg of their last-32 tie with Cadiz and they were ultimately expelled from the competition.
Pique didn’t need words to express his thoughts on the incident. Instead, he tweeted these nine emojis - no prizes for guessing how he felt about it.
And now, just two days before the two sides clash in Saturday's El Clasico, Pique has trolled Madrid once again.
He posted a video on his Twitter of him listening to the famous Real Madrid anthem but the 29-year-old played dumb and insisted he didn’t know what the anthem was.
“I don’t recognise it,” he joked.
“To me, it is just another anthem.”

On the pitch
It’s not just off the pitch that Pique and Barcelona have been doing their talking, though.
Luis Enrique’s side are nine points clear at the top of the table, while Real Madrid are ten points adrift of the Catalan club.
They are also through to the final of the Copa del Rey, where they face Sevilla on May 22.
And they hope to complete their second consecutive treble by winning the Champions League. However, Enrique’s side face the tough task of overcoming Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Saturday's El Clasico
But Pique and his teammates’ focus will be on beating Real Madrid at the Nou Camp on Saturday evening.
They know a victory against Madrid would make it virtually impossible for Zinedine Zidane's side to win the title.
They will also be looking to complete a league double over their rivals after they thrashed Los Blancos 4-0 back in November at the Bernabeu.
And if Barcelona do earn the three points on Saturday, don’t be surprised to see a cheeky comment from Pique on one of his social media sites.
