Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has insisted that there's no truth in speculation linking him with a return to Spain.
The German playmaker, who has been the Gunners' standout player of the season, has also hailed Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, claiming that he was 'an amazing player'.
Zidane, of course, replaced Rafa Benitez in the dugout at the Bernabeu earlier this season, but, despite Ozil revealing his admiration for the Frenchman, it appears that he doesn't intend to join forces with him in the near future.

Ozil departed Real for north London back in the summer of 2013 and has gone from strength-to-strength on English soil recently. It's safe to say that the technically gifted playmaker is now recognised as Arsenal's most important player.
Fans of the Gunners, then, will be pleased that Ozil is 'only thinking about Arsenal' and certainly won't be surprised by their star's comments on Zidane.
Only thinking about Arsenal
Speaking to Spox, as per Goal.com, Ozil said: "Zidane was an amazing player. He did not just play football, but lived for the game.
"I got to know him after his active career as someone who is always willing to lend a hand.
"But that does not say anything about my future. I am only thinking about Arsenal. There is no truth in the speculation linking me with a return to Spain.
"I have watched a lot of games involving Zidane. He was one of the most clever players in the world.
"He was able to read the game and direct play without any unnecessary tricks and showboating. That's what makes him so special."
Arsenal must keep Ozil
With the Premier League title starting to look out of reach, it's crucial that the Arsenal hierarchy manage to maintain the services of Ozil as they go in search of long-term success.
Ultimately, the former Real Madrid player is one of the most talented players in the division and there's no reason why he won't be able to lead the club to the title over the coming years.
For one reason or another, Arsene Wenger's side just haven't been able to keep up with Leicester City this season, but, with Ozil leading the way, they shouldn't give up just yet.
