The WWE is currently contesting with a major injury problem on their main roster. So much so, that at one point, all of the wrestlers which either won or retained championships at WrestleMania 31 last year, would not be competing at this weekend's Showcase of The Immortals.
That might no longer be the case if one certain wrestler gets his way. And his name is John Cena.
According to PWInsider.com: "The word making the rounds within WWE is that John Cena is just about ready to return to the ring and is expected to be cleared anytime, if he hasn't been cleared already. He's absolutely expected to appear in some form at Wrestlemania this weekend.

"Cena has been out of action since tearing a rotator cuff in December and undergoing surgery. He's been intensely rehabbing the injury since."
Great news for the Cenation, as they'll hopefully be able to see their man back in action soon, perhaps even as early as next week on Monday Night Raw.

Cena himself has said in a recent interview with Fox411 that he has been 'sweet talking' doctors to get back in the ring as soon as possible.
He said: “Getting back in the ring is my goal and with surgical timetables, surgeons are very careful of their work and they can only go off of the people who are injured before them. I had a rotator cuff reattachment. I had an AC joint reconstruction and I had a giant arterial defect on the bone that goes into the ball in the socket in the shoulder.
"Basically, the round space was not round, it was cut in half. So all that had to regenerate and grow, but after over 400 hours of physical therapy, I feel pretty darn good.
“The people who said conservatively nine months have now said well maybe I’ll reevaluate myself. So I’m looking okay. I just got a little bit more sweet talking to do to the doctors so they can give me the green light.”
As usual, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is living up to his fan's expectation that he will always return from injury earlier than anticipated.
If Cena is good enough to get back in the ring right now, then why not at WrestleMania? It certainly would be a shock and he could always be inserted as a surprise entrant in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. After all, he has been tweeting some cryptic tweets recently about WrestleMania over the past couple of weeks, so you never know!
