Nicknamed the ‘non-league Riyad Mahrez’ - presumably because, like the Leicester City star, he’s got all the tricks in his locker - the 20-year-old now has a chance of landing a deal with the Premier League giants.
El-Mhanni, who is comfortable on either flank or as a central playmaker, was playing for Lewes in the Ryman Premier League earlier this season but has several top-flight clubs now closely monitoring his progress.

As well as Chelsea, it’s understood that Norwich City and Premier League title favourites Leicester are also interested in signing the skillful attacking midfielder.
According to the man himself, he’s a free-kick specialist - and when you see this video, you’ll realise it’s hard to argue.
Taking part in the ‘top bin’ challenge with Rule’m Sports - where the aim of the game is to fire the ball into one of the bins located in the top left and top right-hand corners of the net - El-Mhanni steps up and hits the target, from the edge of the ‘D’, with his very first attempt.
Even Mahrez would have been proud of that effort.

However, being able to perform freestyle moves and trick shots isn’t always the mark of a good footballer.
And Chelsea are putting the London-born youngster, who previously featured for the youth teams of Barnet and Aldershot, through his paces to see what he’s capable of when surrounded by top-level footballers.
If he's like Mahrez, Chelsea should sign him
If he’s anything like Mahrez, though, Chelsea will be extremely tempted to do a deal.
Mahrez, with a remarkable 16 goals and 11 assists to his name this term, is the current favourite to win the PFA’s coveted Premier League Player of the Season award.
Signed for just £400,000 from Le Havre in January 2014, that surely has to go down as one of the best pound-for-pound deals in Premier League history - especially if Leicester end up winning the title in May.
Mahrez, one suspects, would now cost well in excess of £20 million to sign - and it would be a big surprise, given the incredible season he’s had, if Europe’s big clubs aren’t all trying their best to sign him this summer.
