Tottenham's visit to Anfield to take on Liverpool may well be the standout fixture in the Premier League this weekend.

The Saturday evening kick-off certainly looks an appetising clash for the neutral, but it also represents a crucial game for both clubs.

Spurs, under Mauricio Pochettino's guidance, will be desperate to increase the pressure on league leaders Leicester City, who aren't in action until Sunday.

Liverpool, on the other hand, still have ambitions of their own despite succumbing to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Southampton in their last outing.

The Reds still maintain an outside chance of securing a place in next season's Champions League competition, while Jurgen Klopp's players will be hoping to impress him before the close of the campaign.

Ahead of Saturday's showdown, Redmen TV - a channel dedicated to Liverpool - have predicted the team Klopp will pick for the clash.

As you can see in the video below, Redmen TV have selected a fairly strong side to take to take on Spurs.

Skrtel nowhere near the team

You may have also noticed that Martin Skrtel has been left out of the team. Brilliantly, the man selecting the Liverpool side suggested that the centre-back should be nowhere near the team.

Skrtel, of course, endured a torrid afternoon in his last outing for the Merseyside outfit. Against Saints, the Reds were cruising at half-time - they led 2-0 - but that's when Klopp opted to hand Skrtel his return to the first-team.

Ultimately, the tough-tackling defender cost his team, making a number of errors to allow Ronald Koeman's side to secure all three points.

Sorry, Martin, but it appears that Redmen TV don't want to give you a shot at redemption this weekend. In truth, you can hardly blame them.

Anyway, you can see their team in this video:

Summer period

This campaign is by no means over, but you wouldn't exactly blame Liverpool fans for looking ahead to next season.

Thr 2016/17 campaign promises to be an exciting one for the Merseyside outfit, who will be desperate to come to prominence under Klopp's guidance.

There has, of course, recently been rumours that Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze could join the club this summer, but Klopp has been quick to play down the speculation.

"It shouldn't surprise you that we don't talk about any names," he said, as per Sky Sports. "We can talk about [Joel] Matip and [Marko] Grujic, because these are fixed deals.

"The problem is, you don't know these players- ah wait, you know Matip!

"Seriously, I never comment on any rumours. I´m happy for Mario that he played such a good game [for Germany v Italy] after being out for a long time with an injury. In addition to that, there is nothing more to say."
