With WrestleMania right around the corner, fans are wondering which match taking place on the night will be the one we’re all left talking about heading into Monday Night Raw the following night.
It’s obvious that some matches have been terribly booked, others have been thrown together for no reason, but there is still hope that this injury-hit WrestleMania can be salvaged by a handful of show-stealing matches.
We should expect to see some brutal matches, some huge spots and some fantastic wrestling in general. Here are the four matches I believe could be considered as the potential match of the night once WrestleMania is over.

7-MAN INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH
This match was widely expected to happen over the past few weeks as nobody involved in this match had a solid storyline heading into the event.
The sad news is that Neville was unable to compete in the match due to an ankle injury, and now Zack Ryder is in the match, so it’s a huge opportunity for him to impress. Multi-man ladder matches are always exciting because there’s never a distinct favourite heading into it.

We saw it with the Money in the Bank matches at WrestleMania; there’s always excitement surrounding the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, so it’s the same this time as well. Stars involved always put their bodies on the line, and you can be sure they’ll all want to make an impact at WrestleMania as well, so expect some impressive spots from this match.
This match is expected to kick off the event, exactly like we saw last year so they’ll need the fans to be interested from the first bell. With guys like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn involved as well, you can’t help but look forward to this match and understand that it will be good fun.
CHARLOTTE © VS. SASHA BANKS VS. BECKY LYNCH – DIVA’S CHAMPIONSHIP
The Diva’s triple threat match has been heavily underrated heading into WrestleMania, along with the Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose match, this is one that has been booked brilliantly.
Kicking off with Charlotte’s heel turn with Ric Flair involved in this whole storyline, Becky has played the naïve role perfectly, and her switch to becoming smarter has been great to see. Then we saw Sasha detaching herself from Naomi and Tamina to align herself with Becky – for a short while anyway.
So the journey has been great, the booking has made sense, and the title does have some of its prestige, and it’s a huge improvement from last year also. I feel the trio have incredible chemistry, and we’ve witnessed that since their NXT days.
Women’s wrestling is being given more importance at last, and I feel they’ll be given enough time and plenty of terrific wrestling spots to go out there and leave the fans talking about their match.
BROCK LESNAR VS. DEAN AMBROSE – STREET FIGHT
Any stipulation match involving Ambrose is one to be excited by, this time; he’s taking on Lesnar in another perfectly-booked match.
The match looked like it came from nowhere as it seemed as if Lesnar would be taking on Bray Wyatt, but that’s been scrapped, and now Ambrose has the opportunity to go out there, be himself and take down the conqueror of the streak.
I expect to see a lot of brutality in this match, Lesnar’s strength will play a big part in the outcome while I feel Ambrose will utilise the weapons more efficiently. It’s good that they’ve had WWE Legends play a minor role in this feud so it’ll be important for Ambrose to use those weapons because of the continuity; apart from the chainsaw.
Lesnar is a huge draw so all eyes will be on him, but fans understand that a good showing against Lesnar in a street fight could be great for his future as a main event star. He’s loved by the fans so I feel the street fight will go down as one of the best.
SHANE MCMAHON VS. THE UNDERTAKER – HELL IN A CELL
Although this is one of the matches that was announced last, you can’t help but be excited about what Shane McMahon and The Undertaker will bring to the table.
Shane having control of Monday Night Raw is something the fans want, but at the same time we don’t want to root against The Undertaker and risk not seeing him compete at WrestleMania ever again, so the WWE have managed to pull off a huge match, and they have the fans hooked already.
I feel this is one match that could be the best of night is because The Undertaker always steps up at the event, this is his event, and there’s no way he’s going to want to be upstaged by anyone else.
The same applies to Shane O’Mac; he’s making his triumphant return so he’ll put his body on the line for our entertainment. Plus, if he’s diving off the cell then you know we will be talking about that spot and the match itself for a long time.
