WrestleMania 32 was last night and it has been received to mixed reviews.
Whilst there was several surprises, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley turning up to beat down the League of Nations, and Zack Ryder won the Intercontinental Championship, the fact that so many heels won - yes, Roman Reigns included - has left a lot of fans ruing the night and lack of storyline progression.
However, one incredibly interesting incident was the return of John Cena. Despite barely being out of the surgery ward after getting his shoulder fixed, Cena came back to the aid of The Rock who looked like he was about to be on the wrong end of a Wyatt Family ambushing.

Cena divides opinion more than any other active superstar in the WWE. The 15-time World Champion is adored by the WWE's younger audience and reviled by other parts of the fanbase because he's just too nice and always wins.
But something strange happened last night, Cena appeared to be cheered by the entire 100,000 people in attendance at AT&T Stadium last night.
Yes, the fans do chant "John Cena sucks!" at him at the top of their voices, but it actually seemed to be done in a sense of fun rather than anything malicious.
The initial pop Cena received was amazing, probably the second biggest reaction of the night behind the one that Stone Cold got - how amazing was that by the way!?

Is this a new age of John Cena being universally liked and respected by the WWE fanbase? Probably not, but still it seems possible.
