The Bella Twins have become the two most recognizable women in WWE over the past decade after not only being chosen as the faces of E!'s 'Total Divas', but also showing considerable in-ring improvement since their debuts back in 2006.
With Nikki currently out injured following neck surgery and her doctors currently ruling out an in-ring return, and Brie rumoured to be retiring in the near future, it seems that both Bella Twins could be set to walk away from the company and start looking into different career routes.
Finding their role
Brie and Nikki were not trained wrestlers when they joined WWE as the company cashed in on the fact that they were twins and could pull off 'Twin Magic.'

The duo were fired from WWE back in 2012, (on-screen) when in actual fact they had asked for their release so that they could have a break from the hectic traveling schedule. But they returned less than a year later when WWE launched Total Divas.
WWE re-branded the Women's Division at this year's WrestleMania and stated that they will no longer use the Divas Championship or refer to these women as Divas.

This leaves Brie and Nikki in a strange position, Nikki is still the longest reigning Divas Champion of all time, a record that will now never be beaten, and the duo are the faces of a show called Total Divas.
Whilst both women have a background in modeling and are not as well trained as some of the talent that is currently coming through NXT, they have improved vastly since their debuts and have managed to gain themselves a considerably large fan base at the same time.
It appears, the women of Total Divas will now no longer be involved in the Women's Division. Since WWE have decided that this is now a wrestling division, it is thought that they will keep the women separate.
Brie and Nikki have many future prospects since they have been shown in recent episodes of Total Divas setting up a new business and ensuring that they have a life to come back to after their career with WWE is over.
Both women have been financially smart and it seems whilst Nikki looks to be heading into business, Brie and her husband Daniel Bryan look set to settle down and begin a family now that both their careers are likely over and they are no longer on the road for 300 days a year.
Whether or not WWE misses The Bella Twins remains to be seen, but regardless of whether you love or hate the Arizona natives, they have changed the WWE Women's Division so much since their debut and hopefully they will continue to have links with WWE in the future.
