The WWE seems to be having a hard time as of late, with viewing figures dropping faster than a Rock Bottom and a plethora of main roster superstars out injured, the wrestling company seem to be running low on ideas.
So what can the boss do? Do they prematurely upgrade NXT superstars to the main roster to help with the current fatigued RAW lineups or do they try to bring in other talents?
With the majority of WWE fans being made up of Attitude Era followers, it makes sense for the company to look at bringing back some of the most popular superstars from the late 90's. The return of the Dudley Boys in July 2015 saw one of the biggest pops from a WWE crowd in recent years and the company would do well to follow that up with another potential return from another popular tag team from the Attitude Era.

Cue, Matt and Jeff Hardy.
The Hardy Boys are still to this day one of the most popular tag teams in WWE history with the North Carolina duo seemingly destined for a spot in the WWE hall of fame soon enough.
On a podcast hosted by two-time WWE hall of Famer Ric Flair, the Nature Boy interviewed Jeff Hardy questioning the Charismatic Enigma on whether there could be a potential return to the WWE for the Hardy Boys in the near future.
"I think there's a huge possibility somewhere down the road for us," Hardy replied.
One of the main questions sent in by fans for Flair to ask Hardy was 'Would there be any more potential feuds with The Dudley Boys?' to which Hardy replied.
"I think me and Matt would love to have some more feuds with the Dudleys but it depends on how long they're staying and how long it takes us to get there,"
With Jeff Hardy's contract with TNA set to expire in February 2017, it seems as though The Charismatic Enigma is more likely to rejoin the WWE alone, with brother Matt currently the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
The majority of fans would relish the return of one of the most popular babyfaces in WWE history. It seems certain that at some point we will see The Hardy Boys again in a WWE ring, it's just a question of when.
