Vince McMahon placed Shane McMahon in charge of Monday Night Raw this past week.

Shane McMahon picks his three favorite moments from Monday Night Raw

On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon wanted to demonstrate to the WWE Universe how bad the show would be if it was run by his son, Shane McMahon.

So despite Shane-O-Mac's loss in the Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32 to The Undertaker, Mr. McMahon decided to give his son control of Raw for just one night. And what a brilliant night it was.

Not only did we see the Raw debuts of Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, and the tag team of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, but we also saw a great fatal four-way number one contender's match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship between AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, and Cesaro.

Corbin's match with Dolph Ziggler ended in a double count-out, Crews defeated Tyler Breeze in what was basically a squash match, and the Amore and Cassady tag team debuted well and exchanged words with The Dudley Boyz. A great night for former NXT talent overall.

As for the fatal four-way, it was The Phenomenal One who came out on top after pinning Jericho after a Styles Clash. He is now the number one contender to face Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, most likely at Payback next month.

Shane reflected on the night which he ran Raw, and posted a picture revealing which moments were his favorites from the show. These were the debuts of Crews and the tag team of Amore and Cassady, as well as Styles becoming the number one contender.

Crews looked very impressive in his debut, showing off his athleticism and power with some fantastic moves against Breeze. He should be booked as a face and as a dominant star as he has the look to go along with it. He could go very far in this company and it shouldn't be a surprise if he picks up a championship before next year's WrestleMania.

If you watch NXT, you'll know what Crews can do already. The same applies with Amore and Cassady. Although they never picked up the NXT Tag Team Championship, they have everything they need to become WWE Tag Team title holders.

They're one of the most charismatic teams across the entire WWE, truly showing off that they're The Realest Guys in the Room. They going to take the tag team division by storm and expect them to pick up the Tag Team Championship before WrestleMania 33 too.

As for Styles, he is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and becoming the number one contender is well deserved. It's really surprising he was given this honor so early in his WWE career.

Hopefully, this isn't a one-and-done for Styles, and the company makes him a regular contender for the WWE's top title even when other top stars return later this year. After what he has achieved in his career across the world, he deserves to hold the WWE title at least once.

Overall, it was very good booking by Shane McMahon this week on Raw, but we'll have to wait and see if the positive reaction forces Vince McMahon to consider having his son book the show more often.
