Entering WrestleMania 32, a lot of the matches on the card didn't have any sort of proper build up, but The Wyatt Family didn't even have a match announced for the event.
Considering they're one of the biggest groups in the WWE today, this was a huge mistake. They did eventually get a match, but it was only Erick Rowan competing in a squash match against The Rock, which ended after only six seconds, a WrestleMania record.
After The Wyatts surrounded the ring to take out The Great One once the match was over, John Cena made his return to the company to help his WrestleMania 29 opponent clear the ring of Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and Rowan. Overall, it was poor booking by WWE creative because it sets The Wyatt Family back.

Bray Wyatt recently appeared on Sam Roberts' Wrestling Podcast over WrestleMania weekend to talk about a number of things, according to Wrestling Inc. He said the WWE has never known what it has with The Wyatt Family, nor does it know how to use the faction.
"I don't think, when we set out and finally got the call up, I don't know if [WWE] really understood what they had. Like, we knew the NXT crowd had responded so well to us and they kind of like attached themselves to us and when we came up here [to WWE's main roster], we, never in a million years, thought it was going to explode the way it did. And it did. It exploded.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was just that kind of thing, the right place at the right time. And we were so different, man. We were so different that I don't think the company knew even how to use us. 'What are these things?' Like, we were so different and in the promos [and] so different in the way we looked and how we moved. We were big and we would fly and do all this crazy stuff.
"Like, I don't think anyone expected us to be so complete. And they still don't know how to use what we are."
Certainly the WWE could do a better job with booking The Wyatt Family, as considering they're supposed to be powerful and fearful, no Wyatt Family member has won a WrestleMania match.
They've feuded against Kane, The Shield, John Cena, The Usos, Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan during their time together as a family, but they're yet to have a win against a strong WWE competitor, or a feud win in the past year.
With the company currently lacking good heels, The Wyatt Family need to be built as a power heel faction and get a couple of good feud wins under their belt before WrestleMania 33 next year. They currently look like they're about to feud with the League of Nations, and winning this rivalry overall would be a great start for them.
WWE needs to work out how to book The Wyatts to give them the push they deserve. They have the potential to be the biggest heels in the company, especially Bray Wyatt, who has the charisma and in-ring work to be a WWE World Heavyweight Champion one day.
