Leicester City are bracing themselves for summer bids for N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Premier League leaders have reportedly prepared themselves to lose one of the two stars this summer. They are fearful that not even Champions League football will be enough to put the midfielders off the temptation of one of Europe’s bigger clubs.
Mahrez is in one of the contenders to win the Player of the Season award after remarkably bagging himself 16 goals and 11 assists so far in what has been a historic campaign for Claudio Ranieri’s men.

The Frenchman was called up by French boss Didier Deschamps for the first time during the recent international break where he even managed to get on the scoresheet against Russia. He too is also attracting interest from abroad in Italian champions Juventus.
Should either of the two midfielders leave, the Midlands club are set to make a healthy profit given Mahrez signed for just £400,000 from Le Havre of France and Kante signing from fellow French club Caen for £5.6million.
Kante refused to commit his future to the Foxes during an interview on international duty with France but insisted he will give his all for Leicester for the remainder of the season.
He said: “I will fight for Leicester this season and next season we never know and we will see.
“At this moment, I am focused on Leicester. We have to finish well this season but I don’t mind about (being linked with) the other clubs.”
The last time Mahrez commented on the speculation, according to the Daily Mail, was during December where he ruled out a moved back to France and admitted he was happy in the Midlands.
He said: “When I was playing in Ligue 2 my goal was to continue my progress in Ligue 1. But now I do not think I will return to France. I do not think I will go.
“There are rumours, but I feel very good in Leicester, especially as we are first (in the league).”
