Liverpool staged an epic comeback to knock Borussia Dortmund out of the Europa League quarter-finals in the most dramatic fashion.

Dortmund went 2-0 up inside the opening nine minutes thanks to goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Divock Origi restored some hope for the Reds with a goal three minutes after half-time.

Marco Reus scored another precious away goal for BVB 10 minutes later to restore the visitors’ two-goal advantage, but goals from Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho made it 3-3 on the night. Dejan Lovren then netted the winning goal in stoppage time, sending Anfield into raptures.
