The aftermath of WrestleMania 32 has been both kind and harsh on the NXT roster as we have seen a lot of talent leave the developmental brand, but some new stars born too.
Enzo and Cass, Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews and The Vaudevillains have all debuted on the main roster following the big show in Dallas.
New names at the top
With NXT losing a fair amount of talent to the main roster, it opens some spaces up at the top of the NXT roster which creates new opportunities for some interesting stars.

With Shinsuke Nakamura and Austin Aries both debuting at NXT Takeover Dallas, they will surely be looking to climb the ladder as quickly as possible.
One added name however is that of a very popular but unfortunately long time missing star in Hideo Itami who has been out injured since May 2015.

Itami has been missing with a shoulder injury for the majority of a year despite originally being expected to be out for anywhere between six and eight months.
However following news of Itami suffering a set back in his recovery, he has finally issued an interesting tweet.
Of course there is no guarantee that Itami is referring to his return, but with him being spotted at NXT events in the past few months seemingly without a shoulder brace on, it seems likely that he could be on the road to a return.
Former NXT Champion Kevin Owens was heavily rumoured to be involved in the attack that injured Itami but unfortunately it wasn't able to expand into a full story.
Upon his return however, the question will be, where will Itami fit now into the re-shaped NXT with stars like Crews, Balor, Aries and Nakamura all primed for success on the brand.
Major step up
Of course it could always be possible that the WWE could pull a fast one and never put Itami back on NXT.
It could always be possible that his tweets of 'almost' is an indication that he will be arriving on the main roster sooner rather than later.
Itami's return will surely make a lot of fans happy and a possible debut on the main roster would be the ultimate curve ball - if the WWE can trust his health enough.
