Retired professional boxer and current promoter, Ricky Hatton was recently interviewed by Boxing News in which he gave his thoughts and comments about the potential fight between Tyson Fury and Antony Joshua.
Boxing News author, George Gigney was privileged to have the opportunity to speak to Ricky Hatton about his thoughts on matters such as whether the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua bout will take place.
Hatton gave his thoughts about how he believes that Fury will defeat Wladimir Klitschko in their upcoming fight and that the Fury/Joshua match should take place "sooner rather than later." The interview was very revealing about some of Hatton's thoughts on the current scenario between British boxing's two biggest draws.

Ricky Hatton's opinions have sparked great interest from several boxing fans. The comments have certainly increased the already existing interest for this potential heavyweight fight.
He said: "I believe any fight can be made if the fighters actually want it. Fury-Joshua would be huge. If I were Tyson, I would want to get Joshua sooner rather than later because he's going to improve.

"It's hard to argue his [Joshua's] unbelievable achievement, winning the world title after 16 fights, but Tyson beat the man. That's the yard stick at the minute."
Fury lost the IBF championship after not being able to grant a fight to the number one contender having already agreed to a rematch with Klitschko for July 9. Joshua claimed the belt after knocking out Charles Martin in just two rounds.
Tyson Fury is undefeated in his 25-fight winning streak. He already holds one victory over his next opponent and many people, including Hatton, have predicted yet another victory for the Brit.
When discussing his predictions for the potential heavyweight fight between Joshua and Fury, Hatton admitted that he would be "leaning towards Fury" as he feels that 26-year-old Joshua has yet to face an opponent who comes close to mirroring what Tyson can do.
He also credited Tyson for being more experienced also sighting the fact that he is "tall and big" as potential factors that could lead to his victory.
