With a magnificent 37 goals in 44 appearances this season, it’s fair to say that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the hottest strikers in Europe right now.

The Borussia Dortmund forward recently took part in a trick shot crossbar challenge with YouTube freestyler Touzani and he did not disappoint.

The challenge was to hit the bar or the post three times, but only after performing a trick. The winner could then kick a ball at the loser’s backside as a punishment. But which player do you think won? Scroll down this page to find out.

Aubameyang wasn’t quite as impressive as his opponent when it came to the tricks - although he was still pretty decent - but he was more accurate when it came to hitting the woodwork.

There was then a funny moment when the pair heard an ambulance in the distance and Aubameyang jokingly signalled for them to come and collect his defeated opponent.

Aubameyang thanks Klopp for helping his development

It was Jurgen Klopp who brought Aubameyang to Signal Iduna Park - and back in March, the 26-year-old praised his former manager for helping him to become one of the world’s most dangerous forwards.

"Klopp brought me a lot," Aubameyang told France Football, per ESPN. "He gave me strength of character and made me develop defensively. The two years I spent with him were very useful to help me step up a level. He's someone charismatic and I have a lot of respect for this man.

"He often asked me to go and discuss things with him -- when things weren't going as well but also when they were going well.

"It's good to have a coach who speaks to you, who gives his opinion and knows how to advise you.

"He's one of the three managers who gave me the chance to become who I am today along with [St Etienne's] Christophe Galtier and Thomas Tuchel, who's also in the process of making me reach another milestone."

Tuchel is a huge fan of Aubameyang

Tuchel, the current BVB boss, is acutely aware that he has a gem in his ranks in the form of Aubameyang.

After the striker became the first Gabonese to be named the Confederation of African Football Player of the Year back in March, Tuchel told BBC Sport: "Becoming Africa's player of the year was extraordinary, a huge prize.

"It made him stronger, even more self-confident.
