Everton are expected to make a move for Mainz and Germany goalkeeper Loris Karius this summer.
Reports from The Mirror, claim that the Toffees are on the verge of putting forward a £10 million bid for the highly rated Mainz number one.
Karius, an ex-Manchester City academy member and Germany U-21 international, has received high praise this season and has been linked with moves to Liverpool, West Ham and Arsenal but it seems that Everton are most likely to land the 22-year-old's signature if he does decide to leave the Bundesliga.

The youngster has made 84 appearances since making his debut between the posts for Mainz in December 2012 at age 19. Worryingly, the German has only managed one clean sheet in his last ten appearances for Mainz's first team but despite the unimpressive record, his performances have been promising, pulling off some acrobatic saves and defending set pieces particularly well.
At 6'2" the goalkeeper is a touch smaller than current Everton shot-stoppers Tim Howard and Joel Robles, but with the American already pledging his future to MLS side Colorado Rapids and reserve keeper Robles seemingly, not Roberto Martinez's favourite option, Karius would be a useful acquisition for the Blues.
Everton have reportedly sent scouts to Mainz home games on a regular basis this season and have been encouraged by what they have seen.
Martinez's leaky back line have conceded 44 goals so far this season and has been a source of constant frustration to the Goodison faithful this season - and was perfectly illustrated after their unceremonious draw at home to Southampton this weekend, where a fan to made his way onto the pitch to remonstrate with Martinez after the final whistle.
