Anthony Martial’s winning goal against Everton in the dying seconds of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley sent the Manchester United supporters and players wild.

Video footage of the fans jubilantly celebrating the last-gasp winner, followed by the same set of supporters chanting the Martial song outside of Wembley Stadium were shared across social media over the weekend.

But one celebration you might have missed is that of United goalkeeper David de Gea, who looked absolutely ecstatic. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

The Spanish keeper, who almost left the Red Devils for Real Madrid last summer, can be seen jumping around, pumping his fists, shouting, tapping his crossbar and, finally, crossing himself.

De Gea has never celebrated a Manchester United goal so emphatically - and fans are now hoping this passionate reaction is an indication that the world-class shot-stopper plans on staying at Old Trafford beyond this summer.

Real Madrid rumours refuse to go away

Reports linking the 25-year-old with a move to Real Madrid refuse to cease, despite the fact he signed a new deal with the Red Devils back in September, amid rumours that the goalkeeper has a release clause in his contract.

De Gea has been magnificent for United this season and was deservedly named in the PFA’s Team of the Year towards the end of last week.

And he played a vital role for the Premier League giants during Saturday’s semi-final, brilliantly saving a second-half penalty from Romelu Lukaku.

Herrera hails De Gea

"What can I say? I am not objective - he is the number one in the world," Ander Herrera told ManUtd.com and fellow reporters after the match. "In England you know that, but in the rest of the world they think they have better goalkeepers, but I don’t think so. When we win titles or trophies I think he will be more recognised.

"He has a special talent. When you are born with that quality and ability, you are so lucky. The rest of us humans, we have to work more. But what I like about him is that he is very calm, he has his feet on the ground. He doesn’t change when it comes to these kind of games so I think he is number one of Spain and in the world - he is my friend so I am very happy for him."

United to face Palace in final

De Gea, Herrera and the rest of their Manchester United teammates will face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final after the Eagles secured a 2-1 win over Watford on Sunday.
