Bret Hart doesn't want to appear at Payback

Published 1 Comments

WWE Payback is this Sunday and the race for the Women's Championship has intensified as the WWE are bringing in one of the all time greatest to appear at the event.

With Natalya set to challenge Charlotte for the title, it was announced last week that Natalya has asked her uncle, the legendary Bret Hart to be in her corner.

Reluctant participant

Hart is being brought in to neutralise the threat of Ric Flair who will be in Charlotte's corner and has cost several women their title chances already.

Hart will be appearing during the match with Nattie, but he isn't exactly thrilled about the idea of being around the squared circle once again.

Hart is truly one of the greatest of all time and his reluctance to appear at a show is somewhat confusing but also makes a lot of sense.

It was not long ago that Hart was diagnosed with prostate cancer and earned the sympathy of the entire WWE Universe.

Now Hart is set to make his return to the WWE, but his quotes don't sound great from the company's point of view.

"I do it to honour Nattie, I have no desire to be there, no desire to be on TV." - Hart on appearing at Payback

Hart is clearly not ecstatic about appearing at this Sunday's show and while talking to the audience in attendance for his speech, he did look on the bright side.

"I'm happy to be there for Nattie but I've just had wrist surgery so the it's not a great time. It'll be great to put Flair in the sharpshooter though."

Did Hart just give away what will happen this Sunday? It will now be interesting to see if Ric Flair finds himself in a sharpshooter at the hands of the legend Bret Hart or not.

A big night

The biggest match this Sunday will arguably be the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles.

The two have been embroiled in a personal feud that has included the Usos and the new arrivals on the roster, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

We are sure to see Anderson and Gallows at some point in the match but rumours are rife about exactly what impact they will have.
