WWE made the decision a few months ago to put together four of WWE's biggest stars and name them after the one thing they all have in common, the fact that they are not American.
Wade Barrett from the UK, Sheamus who is of Irish dissent as well as Rusev who is Bulgarian and Alberto Del Rio representing Mexico, the group became known as The League of Nations, but even though the concept was a stroke of genius, the group ha become a complete failure.
Barrett decided to leave the company a few weeks ago and the group turned on the British star after deciding he was the weak link, when in fact they all had their own flaws.

Sheamus was WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Alberto Del Rio was United States Champion when the group was first placed together but within weeks both men had lost their titles.
Not only that, but the creative team failed to book them in a way that made them look like two former World Champions, a former five time Intercontinental Champion and a former United States Champion who was undefeated for almost a year.
The group looked like a fantastic idea when they were first put together because Sheamus needed the back when he was World Champion, but it has just become a hindrance to all three men to be a part of a team.
INEVITABLE BREAK UP?
This week on Smackdown Rusev and Alberto Del Rio walked out and left Sheamus during their match against Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Kalisto the win was then awarded to the latter via count out after the double walk out.
This could be the beginning of the end for the group as it seems that WWE have finally noticed that these three superstars do not work as a trio. Add to this the fact that none of these superstars even have a match at Payback on Sunday night, and it seems that WWE are beginning to lose hope with them as a team as well.
Del Rio returned to WWE last year and this is where he has ended up, Rusev was an undefeated beast and Sheamus was world champion, all three men work better as solo competitors and hopefully this latest act is their way of showing the WWE Universe that they are ready to allow them to be singles stars once again.
