The Blues are set for a massive squad overhaul this summer and have earmarked Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan as one of the first arrivals in 2016-17, according to The Sun.

The future of several first-team stars at Stamford Bridge looks uncertain while bringing in fresh faces to the squad might rejuvenate a team clearly lacking motivation for most of the season.
The only hindrance that remains is to convince Mkhitaryan to move to west London without the proposition of European football for at least the next 12 months.
Staying with the German giants could be more appealing to guarantee he will feature in the Champions League in 2016-17.
The versatility and creativity of the 27-year-old are undoubtedly peerless as he has already bagged 23 goals alongside 30 assists in 49 games in all competitions for Dortmund this term.
English top-flight rivals Arsenal as well as Liverpool have expressed interest in him previously, but have since cooled off their pursuit which puts the Blues in pole position to seal the transfer.
It was Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, the then head coach at Dortmund, who signed Mkhitaryan back in 2013 for £23.5 million from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.
Therefore, Dortmund will want to make a substantial amount of profit with the sale if they are to let one of their star men leave.
Mkhitaryan can operate on either wing and can also be deployed as a second striker. His technique, movement, creativity to exploit defences and set up goal-scoring chances would bring an extra dynamic to the Chelsea squad.
It remains to be seen if Conte can persuade him into parting company with the German side to move to England but if he succeeds it would be a huge statement of intent towards their peers in the Premier League.
