IFK Gothenburg’s home match against Malmo was abandoned on Wednesday night after one of the Malmo substitutes was hit by a firework and reacted by throwing a corner flag into the crowd.
Malmo winger Tobias Sana was warming up at the Gamla Ullevi stadium when the firework, thrown from the stands, exploded at his feet.
Shaken and angered by the incident, Sana marched over towards the fans, picked up the corner flag and launched it at them like a javelin.

The players were subsequently removed from the pitch, with the scores level at 0-0 and 12 minutes of the match remaining, and the game was called off.
"I heard the banger, I looked over and saw Tobias Sana bend down," referee Jonas Eriksson was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald. "After that it went quickly, I blew the whistle and got the players in directly.
"I will write a report tonight and send it to the football association with the match report and it will be up to the disciplinary committee to decide.”

Sana could find himself in hot water
Sana has been capped twice by the Sweden national team and could find himself in serious trouble following his actions - despite the fact he was clearly enraged after the firework exploded right next to him.
As yet, there has been no comment from either Sana or Malmo.
Should Tobias Sana be banned for his reaction - or was he within his rights to lose the plot after the firework incident? Have your say by leaving a comment below.
