The rumour concerning Roman Reigns turning heel has been very prominent in recent weeks.
Ever since WrestleMania, WWE has been slightly altering Reigns' attitude to reflect a cockier personality, most notably with his recent ''I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm the guy!'' quote that he's been repeating on Monday Night Raw.
Fans had been speculating beforehand that Reigns might turn heel the night after 'Mania, although this never came to be.

Most interestingly, however, Reigns enters WWE Payback with the ''Bullet Club'' supposedly backing AJ Styles to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, with Styles being the babyface going into the match, and Reigns sitting on the fence between heel and face.
This might, however, be the beginning of a 'double-cross', where Roman Reigns may, in fact, join the Bullet Club as their new leader, with Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson turning on AJ Styles in favour of Reigns. This would be the second time that they have turned their backs on Styles, the first being in Japan, where Kenny Omega took over leadership of the Bullet Club.
If this was to occur, it would benefit both men, putting Styles over more with the crowd as a babyface and confirming Reigns as a heel, potentially generating huge heat from the crowd, which is something the WWE could use in their favour.
Considering Finn Balor's announcement that he intends to remain in NXT, this potentially rules out the possibility of him rejoining the Bullet club, leaving the storyline very wide open.
If Reigns retains the title with the help of The Bullet Club, this could develop a very creative and dynamic storyline, especially considering recent reports concerning Seth Rollins, suggesting he will be returning to WWE as a face.
Could the WWE be considering another Reigns vs Rollins feud?
