James Milner has slowly but surely become a leading player for Liverpool and the notion that he's one of the most consistent players in the division appears to be correct.
The arrival of Jurgen Klopp has most definitely helped him and he has been receiving a number of plaudits in recent months. They are more than deserved, but how has Milner established himself as such a crucial player for the Merseyside outfit?
Teaming up with DraftKings, we've taken a look at how Milner has statistically produced the goods.
There's only one place to start, of course: the England international has more assists than any other Premier League player in 2016. Indeed, with eight assists since the beginning of the year, the former Manchester City man is out on his own as the best creator in the division.
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil was arguably the standout performer throughout the first half of the campaign, but he has been way behind Milner in terms of assists in recent months. Even recently crowned Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez falls behind Milner since the turn of the year.

In total, Milner has created 13 goals for the Reds this term and one statistic from DraftKings appears to explain why that sum has been so impressive. With 209 crosses in his 30 league appearances, it's hardly surprising that he has helped his side score freely.
Milner has comfortably surpassed expectations in recent months and that may well be down to Klopp's influence. The enigmatic coach has handed the 30-year-old a prominent role in the side and that trend looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.
But there's more to Milner's game than just assists. There's a reason why so many managers have taken a shine to him in the past and there's a reason why England boss Roy Hodgson will more than likely select him in his squad for Euro 2016.
Milner has so many attributes that just have to be admired. As well as being cool, calm and collected on the ball, his work ethic is absolutely outstanding and shouldn't be underestimated. DraftKings show that he has won 58 tackles and recorded 41 interceptions throughout the course of the campaign.
With six goals to his name in England's elite division, Milner continues to offer so much to the cause at Anfield. The Liverpool vice-captain may not be one to get fans out of their seats, but he can always be relied upon.
His influence should only increase over the coming weeks as the season hits crunch time. Klopp's side have every opportunity to claim glory in the Europa League and it's likely that Milner will be the first name on the manager's team-sheet as the club prepare for a two-legged tie against Spanish outfit Villarreal.
